Detailed
The SKF NJ310ECM is a single-row cylindrical roller bearing with support. The bearing consists of an inner and outer solid ring with cylindrical rollers in a housing. This housing prevents contact between the cylindrical rollers so that the bearing type can withstand higher speeds than full cylindrical roller bearings. Also, single-row cylindrical roller bearings with brackets are very rigid and can take high radial forces. Because the inner and outer rings of these bearings can be easily removed, they are very easy to install. Applications of single-row cylindrical roller bearings include gearboxes, agricultural machinery, pumps, compressors and electric motors.
The SKF NJ310ECM is a single-row cylindrical roller bearing with NJ design. The outer ring has two rigid springs, while the inner ring has one. As a result, NJ bearings can withstand radial forces as well as axial forces in only one direction. This type of bearings is used as a support bearing. Support bearings allow axial displacement of the shaft with respect to the housing in one direction. The shaft is located axially in the other direction. NJ bearings can also be used as positioning bearings by combining them with HJ angle rings (available separately). Positioning bearings are used to position a shaft axially in both directions.
