2. Product Description
This is a standard-design withdrawal sleeve used to mount and dismount tapered-bore rolling bearings on metric cylindrical shafts.
The 1:12 cone taper allows the bearing to be driven up accurately on the sleeve to achieve the desired fit and internal clearance. It is intended for use with a separate locking washer and groove nut (not included in the scope of delivery) to secure the bearing and sleeve assembly axially on the shaft.
Withdrawal sleeves are commonly used when bearings are mounted on stepped shafts and need to be removed easily without damaging the shaft.
