  Description

  The Timken HM212049-20024 is the cone assembly (inner ring + tapered rollers) for a single-row tapered roller bearing. Used together with a separately supplied matching cup (outer ring), it forms a complete tapered roller bearing. The tapered raceways and rollers allow the bearing to support combined radial loads and axial loads in one direction.

  Because cone and cup are separable, installation is easier and end play (axial clearance) or preload can be adjusted during assembly. For best reliability, it’s recommended to replace cone and cup as a set and to pair with a matching Timken cup to avoid issues from profile/tolerance differences.
