Product Description

The SKF W09 is a lock washer designed to secure AN and N lock nuts on a shaft or adapter sleeve and prevent unintentional loosening in service.

The lock washer:

• Engages with the keyway in the shaft or adapter sleeve thread
• Locks the nut in position when one of the tabs is bent into a slot in the outer diameter of the lock nut

For safety and reliability, a new lock washer should be used each time the corresponding lock nut is installed.
