With only two main components, a laser-emitting transmitter unit and a receiver unit, the TKBA 40 is easy to use and helps detect pulley misalignment quickly. The three-dimensional target area on the receiver unit helps identify the type of misalignment, including horizontal, vertical, parallel, or a combination of these conditions.

Unlike tools that align only from the pulley face, the SKF TKBA 40 aligns from the grooves of the V-belt pulley. This allows more accurate alignment when pulleys have unequal widths or different face designs.
