  The SKF NJ312ECM/C3 is a single-row cylindrical roller bearing with cage, designed for high radial load capacity, rigidity and reliable operation at higher speeds.

  It consists of:

  • A solid inner ring
  • A solid outer ring
  • Cylindrical rollers guided by a machined brass cage

  The brass cage prevents roller-to-roller contact, which:

  • Reduces friction
  • Allows higher operating speeds
  • Improves lubrication distribution

  Because the inner and outer rings can be separated, the bearing is easy to mount and dismount, especially where tight fits are required on one or both rings.

  NJ Design – Support Bearing

  With the NJ design:

  • The outer ring has two fixed ribs
  • The inner ring has one fixed rib

  This allows the bearing to:

  • Carry high radial loads
  • Carry axial loads in one direction

  As a support bearing, the NJ312ECM/C3:

  • Allows axial displacement of the shaft relative to the housing in one direction
  • Locates the shaft axially in the opposite direction

  When combined with an HJ angle ring (available separately), NJ bearings can also function as locating bearings, fixing the shaft axially in both directions.
