Product description

The 32218 SKF is a single-row tapered roller bearing. This bearing has tapered rollers positioned between conical inner and outer rings. The conical raceways enable the bearing to accommodate combined loads, supporting radial and axial forces in one direction. A higher contact angle allows for greater axial load capacity.

This bearing can be assembled and disassembled due to its cup and cone design. The cone unit consists of an inner ring with cage and roller set, while the cup is the outer ring. Single-row tapered roller bearings are of open design and, due to their internal construction, must be mounted in a mirror-image arrangement with a second tapered roller bearing. Paired bearing sets may also be used in X, O, or tandem arrangements.
