  Product Description

  The SKF NJ312ECM is a single-row cylindrical roller bearing with cage, designed for high radial load capacity and rigidity. It features:

  • Solid inner and outer rings
  • Cylindrical rollers guided by a machined brass cage, which prevents roller-to-roller contact
  • Ability to run at higher speeds than full-complement cylindrical roller bearings

  Because the inner and outer rings can be separated, the bearing is easy to mount and dismount, especially in applications where interference fits are required on one or both rings.

  NJ Design (Support Bearing Function)

  The NJ design means:

  • The outer ring has two fixed ribs
  • The inner ring has one fixed rib

  This allows the bearing to:

  • Support high radial loads
  • Support axial loads in one direction

  As a support bearing, the NJ312ECM:

  • Allows axial displacement of the shaft relative to the housing in one direction
  • Locates the shaft axially in the opposite direction

  In combination with an HJ angle ring (ordered separately), NJ bearings can also function as locating bearings, fixing the shaft axially in both directions.
