The JM716648 NTN is a cone for a single-row tapered roller bearing. This removable cone consists of the inner ring and rollers of the bearing. Together with a separately available cup (or outer ring), these parts make up a complete tapered roller bearing. The inner and outer rings have conical raceways and the rollers are tapered. This design enables tapered roller bearings to absorb radial and axial forces (in one direction).
