Product Description

The 52209 FAG is a double-direction thrust ball bearing, also known as an axial deep groove ball bearing. This component comprises a shaft washer, two housing washers, and two ball and cage assemblies. Designed with an open structure, thrust ball bearings facilitate high rotational speeds due to their ball elements. The separable nature of these bearings allows for independent assembly of individual components.

Double-direction thrust ball bearings are engineered to support axial loads in both directions, enabling axial location of the shaft either way. It should be noted that these bearings are not intended to accommodate radial loads. The shaft washer is installed onto the shaft and rotates in tandem, whereas the housing washers have slightly larger bore diameters to allow for unimpeded movement of the shaft.
